Wine Lover's Weekend - December 2 & 3, 2011
This December, we will present another edition of our Wine Lover's Weekend, and we would like to extend an invitation to you to join us for this unique event. This years theme is "Wines to drink with American Fare. How to turn your dinner from ordinary to extraordinary with the right wine." This is our salute to the American Farmer and our hope to make your meals in January and February a little more fun.

Check in at the 1898 Waverly Inn on Friday, any time after 1PM., and join us for a wine tasting from 5:00 - 6:00 PM. Then head downtown to experience the atmosphere of an old-fashioned Christmas with carolers, entertainment, merchants' open houses, and refreshments. Later in the evening we will all meet for a reginal favorite, Biltmore Sparkling Wine, and dessert.

Saturday morning join us in the 1898 Waverly Inn dining room for our famous full Southern breakfast, cooked to your order! At 10:30 bundle up on the front porch to watch the Hendersonville Christmas Parade go right past the Inn or go out to browse for some of those unique and unusual gifts or antique treasures while visiting any one of Historic Downtown Hendersonville's more than 100 shops. Or you might want to stop by the famous Curb Market, our local farmers' market, for a taste of old-fashioned hospitality.

Saturday after lunch we will all meet with award winning chef Tom Young at his new restaurant. There will be food to be explored, wine to be tasted and lots of talk about wine. After that you will have some more free time to relax or do some more exploring of Hendersonville. Saturday Evening we will meeting again for one of Chef Tom's extrordinary dinners with wine pairings in the wine cellar at Purple Sage.

We promise you a unique experience AND that you will still get home in time to read your favorite newspaper or take a nap Sunday afternoon! It will be our pleasure to make this a fun, relaxing, and enjoyable weekend for everyone! The price for this fantastic wine and culinary excursion is:
